Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Join us for a special performance by Kutcha Edwards, multi-award winner, proud Mutti Mutti songman and a survivor of the Stolen Generations using his mesmeric music to create connections across cultures, generations and spaces. His charismatic stage presentations deepen our understanding of Australia’s first people.
As a respected Elder, activist and survivor from the Stolen Generations, a Kutcha live experience takes you on a journey with stories from his life, that segue so eloquently into each song choice lifting your spirit. His voice is like a light force. It guides you through tales of justice, heritage and forgiveness.
At the heart of it Kutcha’s music is pure soul.
We invite the community to join us on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country as we come together to listen, learn and reflect. We also acknowledge the strength and resilience of Stolen Generation survivors.
This is a free event. Places are limited for this event
