Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
National Reconciliation Week serves as a platform for Australians to engage with our collective past, embracing diverse cultures and accomplishments.
In the lead up to Reconciliation Week, City of Prospect invites you to join a unique Kaurna Language Workshop lead by Kaurna Aboriginal Elder Uncle Tamaru. This is an opportunity to learn about Kaurna culture, traditions, the importance of the Kaurna language and its meaning.
This workshop is suitable for people aged 8+ and anyone under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by a guardian.
We look forward to learning together and creating pathways toward reconciliation with the Prospect Community.
