Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
In this interactive 50 minute hybrid session attendees will have the opportunity to participate in five allyship actions for National Reconciliation Week.
The workshop format is that 5 of us will stand up and talk about allyship actions that can be done in the session and what the psychology of acting is. The talks will focus both in terms of motivating factors/barriers and the effectiveness/outcomes of the actions. All presenters are allies; one of the presenters is from Amnesty International and the other 4 of us are social psychologists from the Social Change Lab at the University of Queensland School of Psychology.
