Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
The La Perouse Museum is delighted to welcome Eric to our 2024 Inside the Watchtower Series, and invites you to join us for National Reconciliation Week 2024 to experience Eric Avery, Indigenous musician and dance artist, for an incredible and intimate violin performance in the Macquarie Watchtower.
Please note: the Macquarie Watchtower is not accessible for wheelchair or walker. It can only be reached up a large stone step with no handrails. We apologise for any inconvenience. If you have any mobility concerns please contact the La Perouse Museum. Be sure to wear warm clothes and comfortable footwear, as you’ll walk across the grassy La Perouse Headland to access the Watchtower.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased via our webpage https://www.randwick.nsw.gov.au/community/whats-on/events/2024/may/eric-avery-in-the-watchtower
