Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Join us on Saturday 1 June for St George-Canterbury’s first Resilience Walk! Book your place on Humanitix. Tickets are free, but bookings essential!
The day will start at 9am with a Welcome to Country by Aunty Rhonda Dixon-Grovenor and the Hon Linda Burney MP, Minister for Indigenous Australians and Member for Barton, at historic Tempe House.
We will walk from there to Girrahween Park, following Wolli Creek and stopping along the way to hear stories of Resilience and Survival.
For those who can’t do the morning walk, you can book into an afternoon walk back from the BBQ to Wolli Creek.
