Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Sunshine Coast Reconciliation Group presents our annual celebration of the life of our Patron Aunty Betty McMahon. Our Aunty Betty Walk commences with a Welcome to Country by the Gubbi Gubbi Dancers, and ends with Gubbi Gubbi man Lyndon Davis leading a walk along the beautiful coast at Dicky Beach Caloundra. Local Indigenous community services attend and showcase their support services. Many schools attend along with local Councillors and plus there will be local Elders in attendance. Learn about Indigenous local knowledge and meet local people working to improve reconciliation in our area.
