Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
We are honoured to host Brenda Matthews for this special National Reconciliation Week screening of her story – The Last Daughter.
Brenda’s first memories were of growing up in a loving white foster family, before she was suddenly taken away and returned to her Aboriginal family.
The Last Daughter is a documentary about Brenda’s journey to unearth the truth about her past, and to reconcile the two sides of her family.
Join us for this memorable event at the end of National Reconciliation Week 2024 – Now More Than Ever
Copies of The Last Daughter will be available to purchase courtesy of Kaurna business, Southern Cultural Immersion.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
This event is proudly sponsored by Borrowbox.
