Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Indigenous Fashion Projects (IFP) and David Jones welcome the return of the IFP Pathways Program for 2024, nurturing and overseeing the designs of seven First Nations creatives, with five showcasing at Australian Fashion Week.
The IFP Pathways Program is a two-year fashion label development program that aims to empower and support the growth of First Nations designers through workshops and mentorship with David Jones and established Australian designers.
Now in their second year of mentorship, this year’s presenting cohort includes GALI Swimwear, Ihraa Swim, JOSEPH & JAMES, Lazy Girl Lingerie and Miimi & Jiinda. Together on Gadigal Country, these designers will weave stories of legacy, matriarchy, honour, connection, arrival and Country.
Join us for this ceremony, held by deep stories of Country, the beauty of vivid blue skies and waters, and the memory of everything that has gone before.
