Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
During National Reconciliation Week, the South Australian Museum will be hosting Indigenous Storytime Sessions from 27-31 May 2024.
Museum staff are excited to read Indigenous children’s books to audiences daily at 11am and 1pm, from 27-30 May in the Australian Aboriginal Cultures Gallery (AACG), ground floor at the Museum.
On Friday 31 May at 11am & 1pm, the Museum is excited to welcome Kaurna, Narungga, Adnyamathanha and Wirangu woman Jay Milera to the Storytime Sessions, who will share with us The Tale of Bruthera and Ngarna – a Narungga Dreaming Story.
Admission is FREE, bookings are not necessary, everyone is welcome.
