Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Sutherland Shire Reconciliation Group in partnership with Sutherland Shire Council, is proud to host an annual Reconciliation Week Picnic. This event is to show respect to local Indigenous culture and heritage with a focus on building positive relationships. The picnic is a fun way to celebrate together on our shared Reconciliation journey in our local community. Activities include a Dharawal Welcome, Smoking Ceremony, Yarning Circles with local elders, native tea making, food and medicines walk, traditional dancing, fun crafts for all ages, weaving, and free native plant stocks.
