Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
Check out the events below and see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Join us at the Minjungbal Museum & Cultural Centre for a special screening of Rebel with a Cause – Episode 2 to celebrate National Reconciliation Week.
Rebel With a Cause celebrates the personal journeys of four outstanding Queensland First Nations rebels. Episode 2 features Uncle Neville Bonner, a Jagera Elder who, in 1971, became the first Aboriginal Australian to enter the Australian Parliament.
Join us to learn about Uncle Neville and connect with the community to learn about the significance of reconciliation in Australia. Don’t miss this opportunity to come together and promote understanding and unity. See you there!
ETC is proud to partner with Minjungbal Museum & Cultural Centre, Tweed Aboriginal Co-operative Society, and Feros Care to deliver this event.
