Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

Knox City Council will be observing National Sorry day on the Sunday 26th May a day we acknowledge members of the Stolen Generation and their suffering.
Please join us. The ceremony to be held around the Yarning Circle at Knox Civic Centre from 10am.
The event will include:
• A traditional Welcome to Country
• Smoking ceremony
• Keynote speech by Aunty Jill Gallagher CEO, VACCHO
• Message from the Mayor,
• Yidaki performance by Ash Dargan and time to yarn with Aboriginal catering and coffee.
