Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

“Stories under the Stars” will take place on Saturday 1 June 2024 by the Parramatta River foreshore. This late afternoon to evening activation will explore themes such as sky country, reconciliation, and the significance of the river for First Nations people. This free event seeks to celebrate Indigenous history, language, art, and culture through a program of artisan markets, cultural activities, and educational workshops, and open air cinema screening of Dean Widders (NRL legend) “Araatika! Rise Up”, with guest appearance of Dean Widders + other Parramatta Eels players Mahalia Murphy (NRLW) & team mates + Steve Ella (NRL legend).
