Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will — and must — continue. Reconciliation Week Celebration Monday 27 May, 8am – 12pm at the Civic Centre.
This event will include cultural celebrations and an opportunity to come together.
Highlights include:
8am – Free BBQ breakfast.
9 – 9.10am – Flag Raising; Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony; Yidiki performance.
9.45am – Guests Speakers.
10am- 12pm – Morning Tea/ Music Performance from Kutcha Edwards and band.
