Every year the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Impact report measures the extraordinary impact that organisations with RAPs are having across the country.
The report collected data from 1,428 RAP organisations across the network for the July 2021 – June 2022 period.
The 2022 report found marked successes and areas for increased focus in the network, including:
- 3,743,939 people work or study in an organisation with a RAP.
- An increase of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in leadership positions, as well as the growth in partnerships between RAP organisations and First Nations organisations.
- There was a sustained increase in employment and procurement opportunities across the RAP network.
- Participation in cultural immersion and face-to-face cultural learning experiences increased to above pre-pandemic levels.
